In general, for ease of care and maintenance, mild, soapy water is recommended for normal cleaning on all Patrician products, with the exception of leather
materials. Please avoid harsh, abrasive or acetone cleaners or chemicals and scouring pads.
Patrician products are designed to add comfort and beauty to every environment. They are created to help in the care of patients and the well-being of guests and employees in any space.
To keep every Patrician product looking as elegant as the day you purchased it, we encourage regular care and maintenance. Various leathers, fabrics and finishes require different care and maintenance. By following the practices and procedures below, you can help ensure your Patrician product(s) will have an exquisite,
long-lasting lifetime.

LEATHER
Use a vacuum or dust frequently with a clean, dry cloth for normal cleaning. If leather is soiled, wipe with a soft, damp cloth using mild soap with lukewarm water.
Do not apply water or heat or spot clean.
ELASTOMERIC FABRIC
Herbie Recliner, Maureen Patient Chair.
Use a soft brush, such as a toothbrush, and non-abrasive dish detergent solution and gently scrub the fabric surface. Rinse with clean water and dry.
GLASS TOPS AND ETCHED UNDERSIDE
For normal cleaning, use a clean, damp cloth with glass cleaner. Do no spot clean or leave moisture on any etched surface.
LAMINATES
For normal cleaning, use a clean, damp cloth or sponge with a mild soap or detergent. Difficult stains such as coffee or tea can be removed using a mild
household cleaner/detergent and a soft bristled brush.
Do not use cleaners with bleach or anti-bacteria formulas as they can damage the finish. Be careful with extreme heat and sharp objects.

PAT-SHIELD WITH SILVERION TECHNOLOGY
Standard on any Patrician product with exposed wood.
Use a mild soap and water solution, then go over the surface again with a damp cloth to remove any soap residue.
Although Patrician’s conversion varnish with PAT-Shield is extremely resistant to abrasion and chemicals such as acetone, vinegar, ammonia based cleaners, rubbing alcohol and bleach, the application of harsh chemicals is never recommended for use on fine furnishings.
SilverIon Technology is an anti-microbial additive incorporated into the Patrician wood finishing process. The silver ions are constantly active, working to stop the reproduction, growth and spread of bacteria. This anti-microbial finish cannot be removed or deactivated without removing the finish from the wood. The silver ions are effective in controlling the spread of mildew, mold, bacteria, odors and fungus on finished wood surfaces. The combination of silver ions and a conversion varnish makes PAT-Shield one of the most durable and healthful finishes available today.
MAINTENANCE OF MECHANICAL PARTS
Performing regular maintenance of mechanical parts will enhance their durability. The following maintenance steps will help maintain smooth and quiet
mechanical operation:
• Lubricate the area housing the ball bearings every 3 to 6 months with a quality, jelly-like, petroleum-based lubricant.
• Be sure the product is level when using adjustable glides to ensure correct drawer alignment.
POWDER COAT
For normal cleaning, wash with a soft cloth and a mixture of a mild detergent and warm water. Wipe dry with a clean, soft cloth.
ACRYLIC
For light soiling use a non-abrasive cloth and water only. Avoid rubbing a soiled cloth on surface as scratching may occur. Water and mild non-abrasive cleaners
are the only recommended cleaners appropriate for use with acrylic.
PLATED METAL FINISH
For normal cleaning use only a clean, soft cloth with mild soap and a water solution.
